As Florenceville Baptist Church, we are a family-based group of imperfect people. Our aim is for all to begin a relationship with God through His son, Jesus Christ, and then continually grow in that relationship in an intentional and relevant way. We want to be a fellowship where people can make connections with others that will encourage them to seek the Lord in all aspects of their lives, regardless of age or circumstances. As part of our spiritual journeys, we experience times of celebration, frustration, discouragement, victory, questioning, assurance . . . God wants to help us through all the circumstances life brings our way.
Are you struggling with family relationships, financial pressures, situations you don't understand or hoped you wouldn't have to deal with? Then you'll fit right in at Florenceville Baptist. We believe that through God's Holy Bible as revealed through His Holy Spirit, He wants to teach us how to live -- including the struggles that come with our normal lives -- in a joyful, forgiven, relationship of peace with Him.
We love and welcome babies and young children! (Check out our Children's Ministries page.) On Sundays, our nursery volunteers minister to enable a pleasant experience for you and your children (age 0-2), both during Sunday School and the Worship Service. Similarly, we have Children's Church (age 3-8) during the latter half of the Worship Service. Of course, our Sunday School Family Ministries has classes for all ages.

Compassion
Canada will be with us and sharing in the morning service.
Following the service, they will be providing lunch and an opportunity
for you to write a letter to your sponsor child. This is open to
everyone, not just those who sponsor through Compassion Canada.
A great opportunity to become a first time sponsor as well. If you
sponsor a child through any organization (Compassion, World Vision,
etc.), bring a picture of your child, we would love to meet them!

Sat, May 26 - Volleyball Challenge Fundraiser for area churches to raise funds for Shiktehawk Camp Sunday School Challenge. See sign-up sheets in foyer; you can participate by playing or providing canteen items, and by supporting your team!

SHIKTEHAWK SHOWER - please take the
opportunity to view the bulletin board in the foyer. You may choose a
‘raindrop’ from the poster identifying a certain kitchen/maintenance
item. These items will be collected and displayed at SBC on Shiktehawk
Sunday.
FUNDRAISER towards a Sharing Way Water Project announced: Arrangements have been made with Mama Mia in Florenceville-Bristol to sell clothing at a low price to help our local community and use the profit to help a more global project. Florenceville Baptist has an account with Mama Mia and the church is invited to participate by taking items there to sell on consignment. After 3 months, if the items do not sell, they will be returned to us.
